Josephine E. Eret is a brilliant lady who is passionate about entertainment and serves as the lawyer of the Tuffgig Music Empire. Having started as a runway model, once emerged the face of the Faculty of Law, and also, once won an award as the Next Rated Designer and stylist in the first-ever edition of FIAFA Cameroon in 2011, she was inspired to do more research in the area of Entertainment and Sports.
Consequently, she is an Entertainment and Sports Lawyer, of the law firm: Managing Partner of Mon Eret Attorneys. She bagged a Master’s Degree in Law and Corporate Governance from Nasarawa State University Keffi (in Nigeria – 2018), a Post Graduate Diploma in International Trade Facilitation and Development from the Trade Policy Center in Africa (Arusha Tanzania – 2015). She also trained in Alternative Dispute Resolution and became a member of the Chattered Institute of Arbitrators and also bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Buea (Cameroon – 2011)
Hence, she is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Cameroonian Bar Association, International Bar Association, and African Bar Association, plus, she speaks both English and French
Josephine E. Eret has had a particularly interesting career: At the beginning of her career, she worked with Kanu Agabi & Associates for 18 Months, Mike A. Ozekhome’s Chambers for two years before starting up a partnership – Mon Eret Attorneys and have been retained by quite a number of Entertainment companies like Delphino Entertainment, F.A.M Festival Ltd, Quest Creatives Limited Seed Builders Nigeria Ltd, and Bluerain Entertainment. She has also served as a representation Artists in many transactions.
Having represented clients at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) in Switzerland, Josephine in very familiar with Arbitral proceedings for the resolution of sports-related disputes and can provide reliable advice on that. As she reassured in an interview with TEMI TALKS: “having so many friends and associates who would come up to me for legal advice, knowing I was a law student kind of inspired me to do more research in the area”
