Your Music Can Never Become Evergreen, Due To Your Bums Shaking And Wrong Message- Veteran Singer, Onyeka Onwenu Shades Female Artists

Popular and renowned Nigeria Veteran singer, Onyeka Onwenu, has in a recent interview revealed her dissatisfaction with this generation’s style of music and what it constantly portrays. In the interview with TheNation, the veteran singer addressed the issue of Tiwa Savage and other female singers who are always shaking their ‘BumBum’ inside their musical videos.

According to the 68 year old, female singers should stop shaking their bum bum and focus on leaving behind long lasting legacies.

In her words, she said;

Be careful of what you live for posterity. If you can’t give your best, don’t step out because what you recorded is always going to be there for long, so you got to give it the very best”.

Speaking further, the legendary musician said “Center your artistry around something that will last with meaning, not just shaking bumbum and it’s just the women that are always shaking it, the men don’t shake anything. Women are worth more than shaking their bumbum.

Enough of the bumbum. Though, everyone is free to be creative, but just know that yours will not last while the other person with meaningful lyrics will remain evergreen.”
