Veteran Nigerian rapper Eldee has joined in raising his voice over the controversial matter that has since been on the mouth of every entertainer and all those following the entertainment industry as well as all media outlets as Eldee has also come forth to share his thoughts on the situation regarding Cynthia Morgan and her former record label boss, Jude Okoye, which has since trailed the air.
Recall, that during the weekend Cynthia Morgan via an Instagram Live interview, recounted her ordeal and spoke extensively about the issues she had and faced with her former record label after signing with Jude Okoye’s Northside Entertainment.
The recently rediscovered reggae singer, allegedly said she had lost her stage name “Cynthia Morgan”, her VEVO account, royalties, her Instagram account, and other things due to the contract she signed with the record label, all thanks to Mr Jude Okoye.
Taking to Twitter to address the matter, Eldee, who joined in on the matter, said its impossible for anyone sign a contract and then turn back to complain of being cheated. Eldee sharing more of his thoughts on the saga also opines that if a company offers an unsatisfactory deal with a party, it should not be signed and that if the person goes ahead to sign such a contract, it must be honored.
According to him, not honoring a contract is dangerous to growth in any ecosystem. The veteran rapper, sharing his thoughts on the vibrating matter wrote;
”Don’t willingly sign a contract & then turn around a while later to complain about how you’re being “cheated”. If the terms are no longer favorable, renegotiate, but remember that your partner also reserves the right to accept the new terms.
”You can’t sign a financial agreement and expect to change the terms halfway into the deal, unless that option/clause exists in the agreement to begin with.” he tweeted
