While many Nigerians are still trapped in other European countries most especially and in other parts of the world. Nevertheless , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama has confirmed the arrival of two hundred and ninety-two Nigerians evacuated from Saudi Arabia in the federal capital territory (FCT).
This he announced in a tweet today 20 May, 2020, while updating Nigerians with their day to day progress in making sure that stranded Nigerian in some of this countries of the world are brought home to the mother’s land. Onyeama, further confirmed that the 292 persons arrived yesterday.
Detailing, Onyeama said the Saudi Arabia government facilitated their transportation to Abuja, and that a large number of the evacuees areajorly nursing mothers and children.
According to him, the evacuees have already begun their 14-day quarantine in some undisclosed hotels.
