Just recently a certain video of the Founder and General Oversee of Kharis church in the UK got hot online. The UK based pastor had gotten so many angry and reacting to his ideology concerning instrumentalist and money being paid to them for their services.
According to Pastor David Antwi who was preaching as he decided to call out all the instrumentalists, and while preaching had said that any instrumentalists collecting money from the church for playing the instruments are thieves and cousin to Satan. The video which have gone viral has received a lot of back lashing and slamming as many seems not to agree with the pastor David’s teaching and perception.
Among celebrities reacting to the buzzing idea is Nigeria’s gospel renowed singer, song producer, entertainment consultant and CEO OF Zamar entertainment Sammie Okposo who was during a time a time one of Nigeria’s biggest gospel singer, having written a lot of gospel songs and performed in different gospel concerts has wasted no time in slamming the preacher.
Addressing the controversial topic on his IG page, Sammie Okposo has condemned the statement saying it is misleading and misguided and he went on by saying that he’s words are shaming and insulting because the instrumentalists who render their skills and use their skills for the church are professionals who are also making the livelihood through the money the church pays them.
He wrote:
“Who is this oh my goodness oh my God who is this please which church is this who is this pastor why why why how can you be making such uninformed and misguided statements????
i dont know who you are
and i dont know what you said before and after this clip
but this clip right here is wrong on every level
i have no personal beef with you im not against you
im against this statement and the mindset behind it
some muscians serve as volunteers in thier home churches but the ones who decide that they want to get paid cos they do it full time as their main source of lively hood should be paid
why are you insulting and publicly shaming professional musicians who work in church and earn a living with their skill calling them thieves????and they are satan’s first cousin???

which bible verse/verses can you use to back up what you are saying?
