Going by the trending rape allegation saga that is being levied on popular Nigerian singer and entertainer, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo best known as D’banj, while just few hours about the num,erous petitions that came against him, as many signed for him to be stripped off all his ambassadorial benefits, Heritage Bank has suspended its N45million endorsement with him till further notice.
This even though haven’t become proven is taking another tool as, if you called recall that a Nigerian model scout, identified as Benjamin Ese, had alleged that Dbanj raped his friend on December 31, 2018, at a hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The allegations since it’s inspection against D’Banj, has seen the singer, continually denying this allegations via his Instagram handle and even sued for N100M compensation, the beginning of his deal with Heritage Bank which came to him as a 40th birthday gift seems to be coming to a halt.

Recall that about 15,000 petitions were moved against the singer by the United Nations, UN, under Women Africa Organisation which obviously is the reason for his suspended deal solelt because of the rape allegation.
Brands like Heritage Bank Africa, One Africa, CSA Global, and others are also asked to end their deals with the singer

“We call on the United Nations, and United Nations Women Africa organisations to remove Nigerian artiste Mr Dapo Oyebanjo as a youth ambassador and distance themselves from his actions following the sponsored kidnap of Seyitan who accused D’Banj of rape and sexual assault which happened in 2018.
