Prince Okojie, Husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Sues Davido For Breach Of Contract
Prince Okojie, husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, has allegedly filed a lawsuit against popular singer, Davido over his failure to appear and perform at the opening of his hotel.
According to reports, the “Blow My Mind’ crooner was billed to perform at the opening ceremony of Okojie’s hotel, Henod Luxury Hotels in Abule Egba, Lagos early this year in the month of January 24. The performance which was one of the highlight awaited performance by the Nigerian star singer, Davido became a flop when he didn’t show up.
Meanwhile, the singer have been said to have allegedly received the sum of N3million, the 27-year-old musician, who confirmed that he will be present at the grand launch via Instagram, failed to show up.
However, the filed lawsuit is coming after it seems the singer is making no effort to resolve the matter. Nevertheless, the singer, who is presently on tour in America, has allegedly refused to acknowledge the issue and all efforts to speak to his management team proved abortive as they stopped taking calls.
