Popular Nigerian singer, Iledare Oluwajuwonlon popularly known as Jaywon was on Monday 5 May, 2020 arrested for violating the Covid-19 curfew which was placed by the Lagos State government.
Recall that over the time, due to the coronavirus pandemic, every state is finding different ways to curb and curtail the spread of the ravaging disease.
However, the event which had led to the arrest of the singer came after, ‘Aje’ crooner was seen driving out around 11pm, being one of the wrongs against breaking the stipulated law, the singer was intercepted around Dolphin Estate and whisked to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, Yaba.
He however, was subsequently dragged before a mobile court on Tuesday, where he pleaded guilty and fined N10,000 before being sentenced to 30 minutes community service.
