The news was debunked by his media manager, Pastor Ladi Ayodeji, who described it as a product of those who fail to verify information properly before disseminating it.
Ayodeji revealed that the news was brought to his attention by his wife, and on verifying, he discovered that it is another Pastor Okotie in Delta State.
He also revealed that he spoke with the House of God pastor at 11.00 PM, speaking he said;
“so that story is a figment of the imagination of some journalists for whatever ulterior motive.”
