Popular veteran actress, Chizoba Bosah Boye , unarguably an icon who deserves some accolades for her efforts and contribution to Nollywood Industry, starting from it’s early beginning, is no doubt going to be missed by the entire Nollywood industry, Nigeria and also all her fans. However, few hours ago, the news of the demise of this legendary actress had come like a shock to many as many couldn’t believe how true this story was.
Mrs Chizoba Boye, is married to the popular legendary filmmaker Sam Boye, while their marriage have lasted for 15 years. Until her death, Chizoba Bosah has featured in many popular TV Soap Operas, dating from way back, TV series of “Checkmate” as well as the well known “Living In Bondage”,which her remarkable role in the movie, many are yet to forget. The most current which is very much alive in the thoughts of people is the “Tinsel” TV Soap Opera Series which she casts as Aunty Atinuke .
Meanwhile, the 52 year old actress was reported to have been strucked down by death after a long battle with diabetes, stroke and high blood pressure
Chizoba Boye, who is the wife of veteran filmmaker, Sam Boye, was a regular face on television series, ‘Tinsel. They recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. Late Chizoba, a strong advocate for Nollywood Igbo, would be remembered for her pioneering role in ‘Living in Bondage,’ ‘Checkmate,’ ‘Scandals’ and many others.
We can only pray that she rests in peace and may God grant her family the fortitude to bear the great lose.
