Popular actress, Adesuwa Etomi who is defintely seeing how real the coronavirus issue has become, has taken to her official Twitter handle today, 24 March 2020 to make some passionate appeal to all attendees of the Africa Magic Viewer Choice Award(AMVCA) which she and her husband is part of as she has advised each persons to stay indoor as instructed by the Lagos state government in order to closely watch themselves.
She made the plea following news that one of the attendees tested positive for coronavirus.
She wrote: “To all of us who attended the AMVCA – please let’s stay indoors. I’m begging you. Let’s be responsible. Edakun. Bubba and I have been indoors for a few days now but it’s imperative that we ALL adhere to the call to self-isolate. Let’s not unknowingly put others at risk.”

Meanwhile, Lagos state government have made announcement on total lockdown in Lagos State in order to curb the spread of the deadly virus. However, following the announcement by the Lagos state government that all participants at the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) should go into isolation, Banky W says he and his wife, Adesua Etomi are already doing that.
Prof Akin Abayomi who spoke this in a tweet on Tuesday said participants of the event may have come in contact with one of the confirmed cases in the state, and are most likely to have been exposed to COVID-19 Infection. In reaction to the announcement, Banky said people shouldn’t wait until they know an infected person before you take it seriously.Mrs W and were already self-isolating since last week.. and here’s the thing… everyone else who attended the AMVCA’s should already have been doing the same. This threat is real. Don’t wait until you know an infected person before you take it seriously. Please.
