Very interesting are some of the funny acts in the industry, so many of us are not ignorant of the disagreement and issue between Cubana Chief priest and BBNaija 2019 TV reality show winner, Mercy Eke aka Lamboginy.
Not too long after Mercy emerged winner of the reality show, the rival between the two formal friends went sour. Their fall out was indeed a thing of concern to some many Nigerians when their disagreement started as so many had praised and evied their relationship as Cubana Chief priest was one of the major supporter and canvaser of Mercy during the show.
The reason for their disagreement was not really made known but rumour has it that Mercy attended another event after Cubana had made provisions for her to appear at his club while another rumour had it that Cubana chief priest engaged Mercy in a false agreement and contract with Moet company which Mercy’s new legal advisers at the time of their appointment discovered that Moet company was never in any contract with Mercy, especially on her being their brand ambassador. At some point of their agreement, Mercy’s legal advisers also fished out Cubana chief’s priest game plan as he had wanted to use Mercy’s fame in enlarging their hotel and get in more customers for the hotel in Lagos.
Nevertheless, the duo now seem to have mended things as Cubana posted a photo of himself with Mercy on his page as he called her his baby sister inserting that disagreements are bound to happen wherever humans are involved.
However, disagreements between celebrities have been known to take a very long troll in getting resolved due to pride among other things. Well, it is good to see that the issue between BBNaija 2019 winner, Mercy Eke, and her top fan and benefactor, Cubana Chiefpriest has been resolved.
Cubana who had made his great love for Mercy known while she was still on the show as he campaigned for her tirelessly with the help of other people, which was good because she eventually won.
However, soon after the show, fans however noticed that they both yanked off each others photos from their individual Instagram pages and unfollowed themselves.
But fortunately for them, Cubana doesn’t want to step into 2020 bearing some grudges, so also Mercy as the duo has now amended things and it was made evident after Cubana posted Mercys photo on his page and called her his baby sister. He also promised to patronise her new fashion brand.
