I Never Believed Burna Boy Would Have Won At The Grammy Awards, Wizkid Would Have Won If He Was Nominated Dr. Olu Asserts
Nigeria’s most trending artist, Burna Boy who was nominated at the just concluded Grammy Award for his album “African Giant” under the Best World Music Album category. His nomination saw many Nigerians hoping that he could have grabbed the award, but unfortunately, the Grammy ward which saw, other great artist on same category such as Altin Gün; Bokanté & Metropole Orkest, Nathalie Joachim and Angelique Kidjo. The nomination later saw the legendary singer, Angelique Kidjo clinch to the award.
The just concluded Grammy and Burna Boy’s lost to Angelique is still the heat talk on most social media platforms and media houses as this has led a certain doctor identified as Olu,to take on social media to share his thoughts on the just concluded Grammy Awards, where Angélique Kidjo won the award for ‘ The Best World Album.” The category which had Nigeria’s Burna Boy as nominee, and even as he lost the award to Kidjo, many have since taken to social media to still celebrate him. However, a Nigerian doctor has reacted with a different thought.
According to the doctor, he had said he never believed Burna would clinched the award, adding that if Wizkid had been nominated, he would have won the award instead as he inserts that Wizkid has better experience and recognition than Burna Boy.
