Dr O. Tenders Heart Melting Tribute To J. Rawlings, Calls Him Alpha Spirit

Jerry John Rawlings, known for his historic mark and imprint in the West African nation of Ghana and knowing how this imprints are unerasable as regarding his legacy to the Ghana, other African countries and the world at large. The former military officer and  democratically elected president of Ghana, is one of the reason Ghana experienced the change and some development it’s enjoying today. It was laid by the sweat of Jerry Rawling and few others, who as at 1979 felt there was need for a change and overthronment of corrupt politicians in power who were only after their selfish interests and desires.

However, Rawlings who in the quest for a change had led a historic  military junta in 1992, and then served two terms as the democratically elected president of Ghana. Nonetheless,  the influential former president of the West African nation of Ghana who is credited with ushering in democracy to the country after years of military coups, died Thursday (Nov. 12) at age 73.

He died in the national capital of Accra after a short illness. He had reportedly been diagnosed with coronavirus, but it is unclear if that was the direct cause of his death. However, his sudden death has attracted many elites and severally people who had referred to him as an inspiration and a personality worthy of emulation.

Speaking today, 13th November, 2020 concerning the death of the former military leader,  One of the solid voices and a popular US activist, Dr Dorothy Ogundu, has  reacted J. Rawlings death as she said;

In Sincere lamentation, here is a real man. He will always be amongst the “is” to us, daughters of Mother Alkebu-lan. I don’t know about all the things he must’ve or should’ve done, but those that mattered and needed he excelled. Ghana must be torn this week between painful mourning and sorrowful joy for a bold real shooting star has cascaded down to underworld. Oh! How it hurts! Every pan-Africanist knows the pride that comes with his booming voice and essence. Rawlings, an Alpha spirit amongst true alphas. My tears, heartbreak and respect ✊?✊?✊?
