Former senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye who is known for his controversial but strong stands and opinions on certain issues, just like many others in this time of hardship and tight time of the coronavirus pandemic has been in the giving mood.

The former senator, few hours ago had taken to his Instagram to make a video post showing bags of rice which he had said was meant to be shared to his people in Kogi west local government of Kogi state.
According to the sayings of the former, senator, he has warned Politicians to stay away from him as he doesn’t want his giveaways and his personal mapped out palliative to his people to be politicized like many politicians have followed the root of politicizing the palliatives they shares to people very at this trying times. Addressing the matter he had captioned his video and wrote;
“Dont play politics with my rice”

Recall that Dino Melaye, filed a lawsuit at a Federal High Court in Abuja against the infectious diseases bill titled ‘Control of Infectious Diseases Bill 2020’, which he has protested against the passing of the bill.
The bill which however, was sponsored by Gbajabiamila and his colleagues, Pascal Obi and Tanko Sununu, seeks to empower the Federal Government to convert any property in the country, including private properties, to isolation centres, which going by Dino’s argument, feels that the government has no right to do that as a lot of things ought to be put into consideration.
