The case, which was confirmed on February 27 is the first to be reported in the country since the beginning of the outbreak the viral disease in China in January.
Following this news and confirmation, many Nigerians especially those in Lagos and Ogun state, where the first carrier of the disease is said to have touched foot are taking precautionary actions in order to avoid getting infected with the virus. And according to the ministry of health and WHO, One of the precautionary ways to avoid contacting the viral disease, is by wearing face masks and washing of your hands regularly and keeping a clean environment.
Meanwhile, seeing Nigeria the way it is, with the way traders always like to take advantage of every little opportunity that would increase their sales, appears to use this very world trialing period to make more sales and profits as sellers of these disposable face masks are using the opportunity to cash out as much as possible.
