Cardi B who is already back in America could not contain the experience in Nigeria and all the excitement of her music concert in Nigeria as she has gone ahead to share the short but mad experience of her visit in Nigeria on her Instagram story this morning.
The rapper took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, where she shared a post of herself during her performance in Nigeria with a caption;
“Missing Nigeria.” One thing is for sure, she had an amazing time in the country and Nigerians were more than happy to have her around.
Cardi who is showing lots of love was very excited upon entering Nigeria as she said from the second day of her visit, that she had wanted to see the real Nigeria. Guess she was able to see what she had longed for while in her visit. The rapper who couldn’t wait anymore to see the beauty, food and exciting things about Nigeria took to her Instagram page on Friday, December 6, 2019, where she posted a series of videos from her hotel room in Nigeria. She went on to talk about not wanting to have the hotel food, rather she would love to eat the real Nigerian Jollof rice.
“Alright this 7 o’clock in the morning I want to go to the f**king hood. I want to see the real Nigeria. I want to eat the hotel food I want like real Nigerian food, all that fish, all that Nigerian Jollof rice, all that, all that,” she said.
She had been amused by the warmth of the people and once said during her livespot African music concert that “Nigeria have everything you want”
Her colour choice at Livespot X Festival at Eko Atlantic further reinforced some of her positive views about Nigeria, that she has likened to her dad’s Dominican Republic.
Some commenters said the American rapper has demonstrated that she is proud of Nigeria, even more than some Nigerian singers. And what’s more, she and her dancers put up an electrifying performance.
The Livespot X Festival also held also in Accra, Ghana on 8 December, but the singer left a trail of controversies behind especially when she was a no-show for hours at a meet and greet event arranged by the organisers of Livespot X Festival.
