Recently turned semi-controversial Nigeria African Giant singer, Burna Boy. The singer whose keeping steady with his pace in his music career both locally and internationally, took to his social media to flaunt the Platinum Plaque given to him by Stormy for his feature in the track, ‘Own It’.
This is coming after the singer lost out in the the Best International Act category to American rapper, Tyler The Creator at the 40th edition of the BRIT awards 2020.
While backstage at the event, Stormzy was filmed handing over the Platinum plaque to Burna Boy.
Taking to his official social media page, Burna Boy shared pictures of his plaque and certificate, revealing that over 600,000 copies of the single have been sold in the UK as at 3rd February, 2020.
The singer who also shared picture of the envelope the award presentation had come with, showed the authenticity of the award as the envelope showed seal from the official charts company presented to Burna, which was to celebrate the official singles chart one of the song ; “Own it” featuring Burna Boy, Stromzy and Ed Sheeran.
