Angry Wizkid Slams Nigerian Senate Over It’s Move To Jail Generator Sellers, Buyers

While a lot of masses in Nigeria are complaining of the inefficiency of it’s government to provide her with adequate basic amenities. Just recently, a bill for the ban of the use of generator in Nigeria is about to be passed at the moment as it just went through it’s first reading at the Nigerian Senate just this past week.

The bill under scrutiny and some processes, as debate is on going at the moment has aggravated the anger of many Nigerians as most masses are complaining of its need when the first step to getting the country stable with it’s natural power supply is yet to stand.

Meanwhile, this has also triggered fury with Nigerian popular singer, entertainer and multi- award winner,  Ayodeji Balogun who is popularly known as Wizkid. Wizkid had taking to his twitter handle lambasting the Nigerian Senate over bill seeking ban on importation and selling of generators in the country.

The multi-award-winning singer, while reacting via his official Twitter handle on Friday,  lambasted the move before going on to demand for a 24-hour electricity supply.The proposed move, which was debated on the floor of the Senate is considering 10 years jail term for importers of generator sets.

He wrote:

Fucking dick heads! Give us 24hr electricity first
