Nollywood Actress and New mom, Halima Abubakar who got many of her fans and friends confused some hours ago with the picture of a little baby that had sparked up controversy as she has finally come out to clear the many thoughts flying in the minds of people.
The actress, sometime last week Friday 4 April announced the arrival of her baby boy as she shared a photo of a baby holding someone’s thumb.
As expected, excited Nigerians especially her colleagues assumed that the photo on her announcement was that of her child and began congratulating her, only for an American woman identified on her Instagram handle as the_arielb to call out the actress for using her photo and that of her baby as claim that it was hers.

The actress who received heavy backlash on social media, after the identification made by Ariel B that Halima had stole her baby’s picture which she has posted as her own baby has now come openly to reveal why she stole someone else’ baby photo to post as hers.
The actress who explained that she has bore her child prematurely and wouldn’t want to make it public seeing that many may use it to say hurtful words to her, decided to keep it secret so her baby boy can be discharged and mature a little bit before she puts him out in the public, speaking, she wrote;
“He will be discharged tmr from icu.i didn’t post cos he was premature.God saved him.I just had to post this. For the people who didn’t see me, I have no close friends.I can’t show you a fragile child, I risked this just to post. @ruggedybaba update paddy mi.i Had to do this.Thank you.
