Robert Sylvester Kelly who is better known as R. Kelly who has been facing countless charges related to girl child molestation and sexual misbehaviour. R kelly having accused and still awaiting trial while in the prison is also facing more charges which are pointing towards him as he has been linked to Aaliyah, remember his rumoured relationship with Aaliyah, when the young singer was just fifteen years as it was rumoured that both had secretly gotten married.
Even Aaliyah’s parent and family have denied ever begiving their consent, rumours still had it that they both had affair as Aaliyah 15 and R Kelly 28 has been questioned on their relationship as both have blatantly denied the rumours. R Kelly who is encountering more new charges as one of the recent accusation levied on him at borders on bribery which is linked directly to Aaliyah. He is accused of bribing some officials to get Aaliyah a fake ID.
According to claims, it was said that R Kelly had allegedly done a fake ID for the late Aaliyah just a day before he married the young lady, who was only 15 at the time.
R. Kelly who insists that he is innocent of a claim of bribery levied against him has pleaded not guilty. He has pleaded not guilty of bribing an official to get a fake identification document for late singer Aaliyah Haughton. Aaliyah who was only 15 at the time and one day after allegedly bribing the official, the two got married.
This makes it the latest charges coming at him while his count offence multiplies as his criminal case accusing him of running many year-long schemes to recruit underage girls for sex, according to TimesLIVE.
Kelly and Aaliyah got married but the marriage was annulled in 1995. Kelly entered his plea before U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly in Brooklyn federal court by video conference from Illinois, where he is currently jailed,
The singer who was arrested on separate sets of charges brought by federal prosecutors in Brooklyn and Chicago. Aaliyah who passed away 18 years ago in a plane crash in the Bahamas in 2001. Kelly is scheduled to go to trial in Brooklyn in May 2020.
Report has it that R kelly who is awaiting trial by May 2020 is also penning some song write-ups on paper while he is his numerous charges counts on him are waiting for court judgement.
